Christian is the coleader of McKinsey’s asset and wealth management work in Europe and part of the leadership teams of the firm’s corporate and investment banking sector and the Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice.

Over the years he has built a deep expertise especially in strategy and transformation program development and execution, corporate finance transactions particularly in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), front-office excellence and operational efficiency programs, and technology enablement across the full value chain. In this space he has worked for a large variety of banks across Europe with a particular focus on the DACH region specially in private banking and asset management, corporate banking, and sales and trading.

Christian is also a regular contributor to McKinsey’s publishing in the banking sector, co-authoring several reports every year on aspects of the European and global financial services industry.
